This is a standout opportunity for a talented Senior Manager to join a high-performing Funds Tax team, advising an exceptional portfolio of UK and international Private Equity clients on complex, cross-border transactions.

The Opportunity

This growing team advises some of the largest and most sophisticated fund managers and investors in the market. Their work spans deal and fund structuring, partnership advisory, and UK fund reporting, with a strong focus on strategic, commercially driven tax advice.

As a Senior Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering technically excellent client work while leading and developing a dynamic team. You'll be instrumental in shaping client strategy, driving business development, and influencing the continued growth of the funds and transaction tax practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the successful delivery of technically complex and commercially focused advisory projects across funds and transactions

  • Manage a diverse client portfolio, building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers and intermediaries

  • Oversee UK tax reporting for fund clients, ensuring technical accuracy and timeliness

  • Play an active role in business development - identifying opportunities, leading proposals and contributing to new client wins

  • Mentor, coach and develop high-performing junior team members

  • Contribute to strategic planning and operational leadership within the wider team

About You

You'll be a credible, influential senior tax professional with a proven background in funds, private equity or transaction tax. You enjoy leading complex workstreams, advising at partner and board level, and driving both client and team success.

Essential skills and experience:

  • ACA, CTA, Law qualification, or equivalent experience

  • Extensive experience advising UK and international Private Equity Houses or fund managers

  • Deep technical knowledge of partnership taxation and fund structuring

  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and stakeholder relationships

  • Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing teams

  • Commercial mindset and track record in business development

Ideally, you'll also have:

  • Experience working on international or cross-border transactions

  • A strong network within the funds, private equity or M&A market
