The Opportunity
This opportunity sits within a leading Financial Tax and Transactions Advisory (FTTA) team, which brings together all of the firm's transaction specialists - covering Private Equity, Portfolio, Restructuring and Fund/Management Structuring.
You'll join the Private Capital Transaction Tax group, working with clients across corporate M&A, private equity, infrastructure and clean-tech, as well as restructuring and turnaround situations. It's a team known for its breadth of exposure, entrepreneurial culture, and the chance it gives ambitious professionals to build genuine deal experience early in their careers.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll gain hands-on experience across a wide range of high-profile transactions, including:

Corporate and private equity acquisitions

Infrastructure and clean-tech investments

Distressed debt, turnaround and restructuring transactions

Cross-border structuring and due diligence projects
-
Advising clients on tax implications of deals, reorganisations and disposals
You'll also have the chance to work closely with senior team members, collaborate with specialists across the business, and develop a strong commercial understanding of the deal-making process.
About You
You'll be naturally curious, analytical and commercially minded - with strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships quickly. You might already be in tax, or perhaps you're in audit or corporate finance and keen to move into a more advisory, transaction-focused role.
Essential skills and experience:

ACA / ATT / CTA (or equivalent), or part-qualified with relevant experience

At least 3 years' experience in tax, audit, corporate finance or restructuring

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

A desire to work in M&A and transaction tax
Ideally, you'll also have:

Some exposure to corporate or international tax work

An understanding of the deal cycle or commercial transactions

The confidence to work with senior clients in a fast-paced environment
