Your Role
As a Tax Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in managing client relationships and delivering both compliance and advisory services.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing the end-to-end US tax compliance process for a portfolio of clients
- Preparing and reviewing US tax returns of varying complexity
- Advising clients on US and UK tax matters, including residency and cross-border issues
- Supporting projects involving domicile, residence and international tax planning considerations
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Managing deadlines and ensuring high-quality client delivery
- Reviewing work prepared by junior team members
- Coaching and mentoring more junior colleagues
- Working closely with specialists across different service lines and international offices
What We're Looking For
- EA and ATT qualified
- Strong experience within US/UK private client tax
- Proven experience preparing and reviewing US tax returns
- Strong technical knowledge across private client taxation
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
- A proactive approach and desire to continue developing within a specialist area
