• Our client is a well-regarded regional accountancy practice with offices across the North West. Known for delivering a high quality and personalised advisory service, this is a firm where you will have the autonomy to lead meaningful client work within a supportive and collaborative environment
• Working alongside experienced Tax and Audit Partners who will provide input and review on the most complex projects.

Your new role:

• As Tax Consultancy Senior Manager or Director you will take the lead on delivering complex tax advisory projects for a varied portfolio of SME and owner managed business clients, drawing on a broad range of taxes relevant to the SME and OMB market.
• You will be the primary point of contact for clients on advisory matters, running projects with support from the team below you and input from Tax and Audit Partners as required.
• The work is genuinely varied - spanning corporation tax, income tax, capital gains tax, equity incentives, buying and selling businesses and properties, and reorganisations and demergers including stamp duty and SDLT considerations. Some travel to the Altrincham and Chester offices will be required alongside the primary Northwich base.

To be successful in this role you'll need:

• CTA qualified as a minimum - ACA qualification would be advantageous but is not essential. You will be technically excellent across the range of taxes relevant to SME and OMB clients, confident leading advisory projects with appropriate support and highly experienced in client facing work at Senior Manager or Director level.
• The ability to work autonomously, manage multiple projects simultaneously and build trusted long term client relationships is essential.
