Tax Technology Assistant Manager - AI Focus

You will play a key role in designing and delivering AI and automation solutions across our Tax business, helping to transform how tax services are delivered.

Working closely with Tax Technology leadership, Tax teams, and developers, you will help shape and implement practical, high-impact technology solutions. This is a hands-on delivery role where your work will directly improve efficiency, quality, and client service across the business.

This role offers strong progression opportunities within one of the UK's fastest-expanding Tax Technology teams, with scope to contribute to both national initiatives and wider global transformation programmes.

You will make an impact by:

Owning end-to-end implementations: Identifying opportunities, defining requirements, and delivering AI and automation solutions that improve Tax processes.

Bridging business and technology: Translating Tax business needs into scalable, practical technical solutions in collaboration with developers and Tax teams.

Driving adoption and outcomes: Leading workstreams to ensure successful implementation and measurable improvements in efficiency and service.

Collaborating and influencing: Engaging stakeholders across Tax, including delivering training and supporting adoption of new tools.

Testing and improving solutions: Supporting user testing and refining solutions to ensure they deliver real business value.

What we are looking for:

• Experience in Tax Technology (internal or client-facing)
• Knowledge of tax compliance and/or advisory processes
• Proactive, delivery-focused mindset
• Ability to translate business needs into user stories, workflows, or similar outputs
• Comfortable using data to identify opportunities and measure success
• Strong communicator with stakeholder engagement skills
• Commercially aware, detail-oriented, and highly organised
• Passion for improving processes through AI and automation
