A leading and growing professional services firm is looking to appoint a Transaction Services Manager to join its Corporate Finance team, based in either Leeds or Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Transaction Services professional to join a business with significant growth ambitions and a strong reputation across the North.

The firm works closely with privately owned and entrepreneurial businesses, providing a broad range of accounting, financial advisory and corporate finance services. With continued investment and expansion across the business, there is genuine scope for the successful candidate to develop their career alongside the growth of the team.

What you will be doing as Transaction Services Manager:

• Undertaking and reviewing detailed financial analysis and interpreting key outputs
• Identifying key deal issues and commercial considerations
• Preparing high-quality financial due diligence reports and reviewing work produced by other team members
• Managing due diligence assignments from initial planning through to completion
• Taking ownership of draft report production and ensuring high standards are maintained
• Liaising with clients, target businesses and other professional advisers
• Leading and supporting Corporate Finance Executives and Assistants, including effective delegation
• Managing workflow and ensuring assignments are delivered within agreed deadlines
• Monitoring project performance against budgets and timelines
• Working collaboratively with wider service lines across the business
• Building and maintaining relationships with intermediaries, funders, lawyers and the wider business community
• Supporting business development, networking and wider market engagement activities

What you will need to succeed as a Transaction Services Manager:

• A recognised professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA or ICAS
• At least 2 years' experience within a dedicated Transaction Services environment
• Strong financial analysis skills and the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial information
• Experience managing financial due diligence assignments from start to finish
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management and organisational skills
• The ability to build effective relationships with clients, advisers and colleagues
• A commercial and proactive approach to business development and networking
• An understanding of related professional services including audit, tax, accounting, insolvency and corporate finance would be advantageous
