An established and growing Corporate Finance and Transaction Services team within a leading UK accountancy and advisory firm is looking to recruit a Transaction Services Manager to support its expanding deal pipeline.
The firm has a clear strategy to significantly grow its Corporate Finance and Transaction Services offering, with a strong focus on increasing market profile and continuing to win high-quality mandates across the mid-market.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious self-starter seeking early responsibility, direct client exposure, and the chance to work closely with senior leadership on a broad range of transactions.
Transaction Exposure
Assignments will include:

Vendor due diligence

Buy-side (pre-acquisition / pre-investment) due diligence

Vendor assist engagements
-
Pre-lend reviews
-
Reporting Accountant roles on IPOs
The Role
As a Transaction Services Manager, you will:

Take day-to-day responsibility for individual due diligence engagements, reporting directly to Partners and/or Directors

Manage transaction timelines, budgets and deliverables
-
Scope assignments and assist with fee budgeting

Lead, coach and develop teams to deliver high-quality analysis and reports
-
Liaise with internal specialists (tax, audit, advisory) as required

Work closely with clients and their advisers, including lawyers, lenders and corporate finance advisers

Support Partners and Directors in presenting findings to clients
-
Contribute to the development of internal processes, tools and methodologies

Support business development and marketing initiatives
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
-
ACA / ACCA qualification (or equivalent)
-
Essential experience in Transaction Services / Financial Due Diligence

A proven track record of leading TS engagements and producing due diligence reports

Strong analytical skills and financial modelling capability
-
High-quality report writing and presentation skills
-
Confidence managing projects, stakeholders and junior team members

Ideally an audit background prior to specialising in Transaction Services

Strong commercial awareness and a proactive, client-facing approach
