US/UK Tax Partner - London
An exciting opportunity for an experienced US/UK Tax Partner or ambitious Director to join a highly regarded accountancy firm and play a leading role in the continued growth of its US tax offering.
We are working with a leading UK accountancy firm looking to strengthen its US/UK tax capabilities in London. This is an opportunity to join an established and growing international practice, working with an impressive client base and helping to develop its presence across the US-connected market.
The opportunity
The firm has an established US/UK Private Client Tax advisory business, supported by a strong international network and an existing portfolio of high-quality clients. It is looking to appoint a senior individual to take a leading role in the continued development of the practice.
The successful candidate will inherit an established business, with responsibility for driving its next phase of growth, developing client relationships and further strengthening collaboration with colleagues across the firm's US network.
This is a strategic leadership opportunity, combining technical advisory work, business development and the management and development of an established team.
The role
-
Lead and develop an established US/UK Private Client Tax advisory practice.
-
Take responsibility for an established team.
-
Develop and grow relationships with high-net-worth individuals, families, entrepreneurs and internationally connected private clients.
-
Work closely with US colleagues to identify cross-border opportunities and develop the firm's international offering.
-
Drive new business, generate referrals and build the practice's market profile.
-
Provide leadership, direction and mentorship to the wider team.
-
Take commercial responsibility for the growth, performance and profitability of the practice.
The ideal candidate

Strong technical expertise in complex US/UK private client tax advisory matters.
-
A proven ability to develop client relationships and generate new business.

Commercially minded, with the gravitas and ambition to take ownership of an established practice.
-
A collaborative approach and an appetite to work closely with international colleagues.
Why consider this opportunity?
-
An existing team.
-
The opportunity to lead rather than build a practice from scratch.
-
Strong US connectivity and international referral opportunities.
-
Scope to shape the future direction and growth of the offering.
