Ready to take the next step into management?

We're working with a growing specialist US/UK tax practice looking to appoint an Assistant Manager to its London team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ATT-qualified tax professional or IRS Enrolled Agent who wants to develop their leadership skills, gain greater responsibility and work closely with a varied portfolio of clients.

The Role

You'll review and sign off returns, manage a small team, handle complex tax work and mentor junior staff. The role offers a mix of compliance and advisory work, direct client contact, and genuine opportunities for progression.

What You Need

  • ATT qualified and/or IRS Enrolled Agent
  • 3-5 years' US/UK personal tax experience
  • Experience preparing and reviewing both UK and US tax returns
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
  • A desire to develop others while continuing to build your own expertise

What Makes This Different

  • No timesheets
  • A genuine focus on work-life balance
  • Hybrid working (typically 3 days in the office)
  • Flexible working hours
  • Growing specialist practice where your contribution is recognised
  • Supportive and collaborative culture
  • Regular social events and team activities
  • ATT and EA study support
  • Private medical insurance
  • Performance bonuses linked to firm success

The Team

Join a specialist US/UK private client tax practice advising US expatriates, entrepreneurs, business owners and high-net-worth individuals. You'll be part of a collaborative team delivering both compliance and increasingly complex advisory work.
