This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded boutique US/UK private client tax practice in the City of London.

The firm is continuing to grow and is looking to appoint an ambitious US/UK Tax Assistant Manager to take on greater responsibility across client delivery, technical review and team development.

  • Take ownership of increasingly complex US and UK tax matters.

  • Support the delivery of both compliance and advisory work.

  • Manage, mentor and develop junior members of the team.

  • Help improve processes and contribute to the continued development of the practice.

  • Work closely with senior members of the firm, gaining exposure to the commercial and strategic side of a growing specialist business.

This is a genuine step into management, with the opportunity to develop your leadership skills while continuing to strengthen your US/UK tax expertise.

You'll gain exposure to the complexities of both the US and UK tax systems, working on increasingly challenging matters as your experience and responsibility grow.

What We're Looking For

You'll be an experienced US/UK private client tax professional with a strong technical foundation and the ambition to develop into a future Manager.

Ideally, you will have:

  • ATT qualification and/or IRS Enrolled Agent status.

  • Around 3-5 years' experience in US/UK personal tax.

  • Experience preparing and reviewing both UK and US personal tax returns.

  • Strong technical ability and excellent attention to detail.

  • Good organisational and time-management skills.

  • Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients.

  • An interest in mentoring and developing junior colleagues.

  • The ambition to take on greater responsibility and continue progressing your career.
