A highly regarded specialist US/UK tax practice is looking to appoint a Manager to join its London office. With continued growth and an expanding client base, this position offers the opportunity to take ownership of a diverse portfolio while playing a key role in developing both people and the wider business.
Whether you're an ambitious Assistant Manager ready to step up or an existing Manager looking for greater autonomy, this role provides a clear platform for long-term progression.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of US/UK private clients from straightforward compliance through to more complex matters
- Review and sign off US and UK tax returns
- Lead, mentor and develop junior members of the team
- Build strong relationships with clients and act as a trusted adviser
- Oversee workflow and ensure high-quality client delivery
- Support technical training and knowledge sharing across the team
- Work alongside senior leadership on advisory projects and complex cases
What We're Looking For
- ATT qualified and/or IRS Enrolled Agent
- Strong US/UK personal tax experience
- Experience reviewing complex tax returns
- Proven ability to manage client relationships effectively
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
- A proactive approach and desire to continue developing technically
