US/UK Tax Senior Associate - Top 10 Firm

£40,000-£50,000 | London | Hybrid Working | Study Support

Looking to develop your US/UK tax career within a leading accountancy practice?

I'm working with a Top 10 accountancy and advisory firm that's looking for a US/UK Tax Senior Associate to join its established Private Client team in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a foundation in US/UK personal tax who wants to build their technical knowledge, gain exposure to more complex international clients and benefit from structured training and professional development.

You'll be joining a supportive, collaborative team, working closely with experienced Managers and Partners who are committed to helping you develop your career.

The Opportunity

You'll work with a varied portfolio of internationally mobile individuals, entrepreneurs and clients with both US and UK tax obligations.

The role offers a good balance of hands-on compliance work and opportunities to develop your advisory experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing US and UK personal tax returns for internationally connected clients.
  • Working through double taxation issues, foreign tax credits and income sourcing.
  • Identifying US and UK filing requirements and potential tax implications.
  • Reviewing straightforward tax returns and ensuring work is technically accurate.
  • Liaising with clients to gather information, resolve queries and explain tax matters.
  • Supporting Managers and Partners on more complex client matters and advisory projects.
  • Developing your technical knowledge through structured training and hands-on experience.

About You

We're keen to speak to US/UK Tax Associates and Seniors who are looking to take the next step in their careers.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • Experience preparing US and UK personal tax returns.
  • A good understanding of cross-border personal tax compliance.
  • An interest in developing your technical and advisory skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
  • Good communication skills and confidence working with clients.
  • An interest in progressing towards relevant professional tax qualifications.

You don't need to have experience across every area of US/UK tax. What's important is that you have a solid foundation and are keen to continue developing.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

Top 10 firm: Join an established accountancy and advisory practice with the resources and support to invest in your development.

Specialist US/UK tax experience: Work with internationally mobile individuals and clients with complex transatlantic tax affairs.

Training and qualifications: Benefit from structured technical training, study support and ongoing professional development.

Advisory exposure: Build on your compliance experience and develop your understanding of more complex US/UK tax matters.

Career progression: Develop your expertise within an established team, with opportunities to take on greater responsibility as you progress.

Supportive environment: Work closely with experienced Managers and Partners in a collaborative, people-focused team.

Salary & Benefits

  • £40,000-£50,000 depending on experience.
  • Hybrid and flexible working.
  • Study support and structured professional development.
  • 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Private medical insurance.
  • Permanent health insurance.
  • Life assurance and pension.
  • Additional wellbeing and lifestyle benefits.
