About the Role

A leading Top 10 accountancy and advisory firm is seeking a VAT Manager to join its fast-growing London-based indirect tax team of 15 professionals.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, client-focused team working across a broad range of industries and client types, from large multinationals to entrepreneurial businesses.

You will gain exposure to both UK and international VAT, alongside the opportunity to broaden your experience into customs and wider indirect tax matters.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a varied portfolio of VAT clients across multiple sectors
Deliver high-quality VAT advisory and compliance services
Act as a key client contact, building strong long-term relationships
Work closely with colleagues across other service lines
Identify opportunities to add value and support business development
Mentor and develop junior members of the team

About You

CTA qualified (or equivalent) with strong UK VAT experience (c.7-10 years)
Commercially minded and client-focused approach
Ability to identify key issues and deliver practical, technically robust advice
Confident working across a diverse client base
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Motivated to develop advisory and business development capability
