VAT Advisory Manager / Senior Manager

West Sussex | Hybrid Working (3 days office / 2 days home)

Pro Tax is recruiting a VAT Advisory Manager or Senior Manager for a growing specialist tax team in West Sussex. The role is easily accessible from Chichester, Portsmouth, Crawley, Horsham, Gatwick and surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced VAT professional looking to focus on advisory work, manage key client relationships and play a role in the continued growth of a successful indirect tax practice.

The Role

You'll provide VAT advice to a diverse client portfolio across sectors including property, manufacturing, charities, financial services, education and the public sector.

Key responsibilities include:

Delivering high-quality VAT advisory services
Managing client relationships and becoming a trusted adviser
Leading complex VAT projects across a range of industries
Collaborating with colleagues across tax and advisory teams
Mentoring and developing junior team members
Supporting business development and networking activities
Identifying opportunities to expand services within existing clients

About You

Strong VAT advisory experience gained in practice or industry
Excellent technical VAT knowledge
Strong communication and client management skills
Experience leading projects and managing stakeholder relationships
Previous mentoring or team leadership experience
Professional tax qualification desirable but not essential
