Audit and Accounts Semi Senior / Senior (50% Audit | 50% Accounts + Tax Exposure)
Central London | Hybrid Working
Are you an ACCA or ACA trainee, finalist, or newly qualified accountant looking to step into a role with real responsibility, variety, and progression? We're working with a well‑established mid‑sized accountancy firm in Central London that is investing in and expanding its audit function following recent audit threshold increases. This is an excellent opportunity to join at a key growth stage and gain early ownership and visibility within the audit team.
The Audit and Accounts Semi Senior Role:
* Genuine mixed role: 50% audit / 50% accounts with corporate tax (CT600) exposure
* Assisting on audit engagements from planning through to completion
* Acting as Senior on larger audits and group assignments
* Supervising and mentoring junior staff
* Exposure to group audits, consolidations, and a diverse client base
* Financial reporting under FRS 102
Why This Role Stands Out:
* Early responsibility - running work rather than simply assisting
* Varied client base including care homes, FCA‑regulated businesses, property groups, R&D companies and more
* Strong technical development across audit, accounts and tax
* High visibility within a growing and invested audit team
* Clear progression for those stepping up at Semi Senior or Senior level
About You:
* ACCA or ACA trainee (finalist) or newly qualified
* Solid audit grounding and ready to take on more ownership
* Comfortable working across audit and accounts
* Keen to lead engagements and support junior development
* Curious, commercial, and motivated to broaden your skillset
Package & Benefits:
* Salary £35,000 - £42,000 depending on experience
* Full exam and study support (provider of your choice)
* Supportive and collaborative working culture
* Hybrid working with WFH Fridays post‑probation
* Modern Central London office
This role is ideal for someone seeking broader exposure, faster progression, and genuine involvement in audit delivery rather than a narrow or siloed remit. To apply or discuss this opportunity confidentially, please contact kate.green@pro-finance.co.uk.
