Audit & Accounts Senior - £50,000 to £55,000 - Richmond (Hybrid)
A growing, people‑focused accountancy practice in Richmond is looking for a confident Audit & Accounts Senior who wants genuine variety, autonomy, and a clear path to progression.
If you're ACA or ACCA qualified and want a role where your ideas are heard, your work is valued, and your career can move forward, this could be the ideal next step.
This position has opened due to continued growth and the upcoming departure of a long‑standing team member - creating a rare opportunity to step into a key role within a close‑knit, supportive firm.
A genuinely mixed Audit & Accounts Senior position with exposure across a broad and interesting client base:
-
60% Audit - Lead audits from planning through to completion for SMEs, charities, and not‑for‑profit organisations.
-
30% Accounts - Prepare statutory and management accounts under FRS 102 1A for limited companies and unincorporated entities.
-
10% Corporation Tax - Prepare CT computations and assist with ad hoc tax queries.
You'll also mentor junior team members, work closely with managers and partners, and gain early leadership experience in a supportive environment.
You'll be a qualified ACA or ACCA accountant who enjoys variety, responsibility, and working in a collaborative team.
You will bring:
-
Strong experience in external audit and accounts preparation (FRS 102 1A).
-
A background in a small or medium‑sized practice.
-
Confidence working independently and as part of a team.
-
Clear communication skills and a proactive approach.
-
UK right to work (no sponsorship available).
Experience with Caseware, Digita, Xero, Sage or QuickBooks is helpful, but full training is available.
This is a firm where people stay because they're supported, trusted, and given room to grow.
-
Relaxed, friendly office environment
-
Approachable, hands‑on partners
-
Exposure to clients across education, healthcare, professional services, manufacturing, leisure and more
-
Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 from home after probation
-
Genuine work‑life balance with a 7‑hour working day
-
£50,000 - £55,000 (DOE)
-
Pension

Death‑in‑service benefit
-
Paid professional memberships (ICAEW/ACCA)
-
Hybrid working (2 days WFH)
-
Discounted local parking
-
Richmond location - close to the station and local amenities
