With over 200 years of history, this award-winning Top 40 professional services firm operates across London and the South East. They provide a full range of accountancy, business advisory, and wealth services, tailored to clients' needs.

Due to growth, they are seeking an Audit Assistant Manager to take responsibility for a small portfolio of audit clients. You'll play a key role in supporting senior colleagues across audit engagements, delivering a high-quality client service while ensuring adherence to job budgets and maximising fee recovery.

Your role as an Audit Assistant Manager:

  • You will manage and develop a small portfolio of audit clients across corporate audit sector.
  • Plan and prioritise client audit work across your portfolio.
  • Prepare or delegate audit work within agreed budgets, manage complex consolidations and audit areas and act as key contact for outsourced team members.
  • Work closely with partners and colleagues in other service lines.
  • Supervise audit seniors, semi-seniors, and assistants. Delegate work and provide feedback, coaching and task planning.
  • Support business development activities by supporting departmental growth via networking, meetings, and pitches.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • You must be ACA / ACCA qualified.
  • Will have worked for a similar sized firm and have experience of working with corporate audit sectors.
  • Enthusiasm to progress in a Manager role.
  • A good management rapport to mentor the audit team.
