Our client is a leading Big 4 accountancy firm with a strong reputation across the private business market. As part of its continued investment in Reading, the firm is seeking an ambitious Audit Partner to help drive growth, strengthen client relationships and further develop its presence across the region.

This is a highly visible, market-facing role suited to an individual who enjoys business development, networking and working closely with business owners, advisers and key introducers. Alongside leading a high-quality audit portfolio, you will play a key role in winning new work and shaping the future growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of privately owned audit clients.
• Drive business development and identify new growth opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, intermediaries and referral networks.
• Provide strategic advice to business owners and senior management teams.
• Lead and develop high-performing audit teams.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality audit services.

About You

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
• Existing Audit Partner, RI or experienced Audit Director seeking a step into partnership.
• Strong technical audit background gained within a leading accountancy practice.
• Proven track record of developing client relationships and generating new business.
• Commercial, entrepreneurial and growth-focused.
