A long‑established, mid‑tier accountancy practice in Central London is seeking an experienced Audit Supervisor to join its growing audit team. The firm has over 300 staff, a strong partner presence, and a reputation for high‑quality, partner‑led service across a diverse client base.
Located just a short walk from a station, the office offers excellent transport links, plenty of nearby cafés, and a sociable team culture - including regular payday Friday meet‑ups. The firm operates a flexible working model with core hours of 10am-4pm and only two days per week required in the office.
This role sits within a well‑resourced audit department and is ideal for someone looking to step up, take ownership of larger assignments, and supervise junior team members while working with a broad mix of commercial and not‑for‑profit clients.
The Opportunity
The firm audits organisations of all sizes across sectors including property, hospitality, media, technology, entertainment. As an Audit Supervisor, you'll lead fieldwork, manage client relationships, and support the development of trainees, while working closely with managers and partners.
Key Responsibilities

Planning, leading, and completing audit engagements in line with ISA standards

Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts under UK GAAP / FRS102

Managing budgets, timelines, and client expectations

Supervising and reviewing the work of audit trainees

Supporting staff development and contributing to performance evaluations

Ensuring high-quality delivery across a varied portfolio of clients
Candidate Profile

ACA/ACCA qualified, ideally with first‑time passes

Strong audit background gained within a UK practice

Experience leading audits on‑site and remotely

Confident supervising juniors and managing client communication

Strong organisational, planning, and delegation skills

Ability to prioritise effectively and work to deadlines
