Our client, a leading Big 4 firm, is continuing to invest in the growth of its Capital Allowances practice - a team dedicated to helping clients unlock the full value of their investments in innovation, property, and capital assets. As part of this growth, we are seeking an accomplished Capital Allowances Manager to play a key role in delivering exceptional client outcomes and driving business development initiatives.
The Opportunity
You will manage a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors, leading the delivery of Capital Allowance projects and supporting clients in optimising their tax positions. This role offers genuine variety and the opportunity to work with high-profile, inbound, and UK-based businesses while collaborating closely with senior stakeholders across the wider tax practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver complex Capital Allowance claims and related advisory projects.
- Advise clients on capital expenditure, tax depreciation, and fixed asset planning.
- Liaise with HMRC on client claims and queries.
- Develop trusted relationships with clients and internal teams, ensuring high-quality technical delivery.
- Coach and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional and technical growth.
- Contribute to business development initiatives and proposal activity.
About You
You'll bring solid experience in a Capital Allowances or tax incentives environment, with a strong grasp of legislation, claim preparation, and stakeholder management. You'll be highly organised, analytical, and commercially aware, with excellent communication and report-writing skills.
