Your role as Corporate Tax Director
You will take ownership of the Corporate Tax compliance function, ensuring high standards, smooth delivery and a consistently strong client experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing complex corporate tax computations and returns
- Leading advisory projects including corporate restructures, tax clearances, share schemes, transfer pricing, CIR calculations, PAYE reviews, due diligence and R&D
- Managing and developing junior team members
- Overseeing your own client portfolio and building long-term relationships
- Liaising with HMRC and external advisers
- Contributing to departmental strategy and growth initiatives
- Using commercial awareness to manage work efficiently and drive profitability
- This role is both operational and strategic, ideal for someone who wants to shape a function rather than simply maintain it.
What we're looking for
- CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified
- Practice-trained with recent experience at Senior Manager level or above
- At least five years' post-qualification managerial experience
- Strong advisory-focused Corporate Tax background
- Experience managing a client portfolio
- Proven leadership and team development capability
- Commercially aware, confident communicator and relationship builder
