Transaction Services Senior Associate
I'm currently working on behalf of a growing and highly ambitious advisory firm looking to hire a Senior Associate into its Transaction Services team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with financial due diligence experience who wants to join a team operating across the lower mid-market, supporting a broad range of clients including private equity, search funds, trade buyers and lending institutions.

The role will primarily focus on buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence, but you'll also gain exposure to valuations and IPO-related advisory work, offering a broader platform for development over time.

This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment and wants to be part of a firm with clear growth ambitions and a strong people-focused culture.

The role will involve:

  • Preparing and maintaining data packs and supporting schedules for due diligence engagements
  • Analysing historical financial performance, including revenue, margin and cost trends
  • Reviewing working capital and net debt positions
  • Liaising directly with clients and target management teams
  • Supporting the drafting of clear, concise reports and other deliverables
  • Coaching and supporting more junior team members
  • Working closely with colleagues across the wider firm
  • Assisting with financial models to support transaction analysis
  • Contributing to business development activity, including proposals, networking and meetings

To be considered, you'll ideally have:

  • ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent qualification
  • At least 2 years' financial due diligence experience
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
  • A proactive, self-starting approach and willingness to take ownership
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines

Alongside the role itself, the firm offers a strong overall package with a clear focus on development, wellbeing and reward, within a culture that encourages people to bring their full selves to work and grow their careers in a supportive environment.

If you'd be open to hearing more, get in touch.
