An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Services Tax professional to join a leading international accountancy firm as a Partner, with a particular focus on Banking.

The Opportunity

Working alongside an established team of Financial Services Tax Partners, you will have the opportunity to help shape and grow the firm's Banking Tax offering, leveraging an existing platform while developing new client relationships and revenue streams.

The role will involve:

• Leading complex UK and international corporate tax advisory engagements for banking and wider financial services clients.

• Developing and strengthening relationships with banks and other financial institutions.

• Identifying and converting new business opportunities, contributing to the growth of the Financial Services Tax practice.

• Working collaboratively with colleagues across tax, advisory and the wider Financial Services business.

• Providing strategic tax advice on complex transactions, structuring, regulatory developments and cross-border matters.

• Leading, mentoring and developing talented teams while helping shape the future direction of the practice.

The Individual

We are keen to speak with established Partners or ambitious Directors who have a strong background in Financial Services Tax, ideally with significant exposure to the Banking sector.

You will bring:

• Strong technical expertise in UK corporate tax, with experience advising banking and financial services clients.

• An established network within the Financial Services market and the ability to develop meaningful client relationships.

• A commercial mindset, with a track record of winning work or clear potential to generate revenue.

• Experience leading complex advisory engagements and developing teams.

• The ambition to contribute to a growing, well-invested and collaborative practice.

While Banking experience is a particular area of interest, individuals with broader Financial Services Tax backgrounds and relevant commercial relationships will also be considered.
