An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Personal Tax Manager to join a well-established and growing Top 20 accountancy practice.
This role focuses on managing the personal tax compliance cycle, alongside providing ad hoc advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients including individuals, trusts, partnerships and LLPs. A significant proportion of work relates to landed estates and rural businesses.

Your role as a Personal Tax Manager:
- You will also play a key role in supporting and developing junior team members, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing environment. There are additional opportunities to get involved in wider firm initiatives, including advisory projects, internal committees and presentations.
- Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients.
- Oversee the personal tax compliance cycle.
- Review work prepared by junior tax staff.
- Provide tailored tax advice, including: Inheritance tax planning, Capital gains tax planning, Trust planning, and International tax matters.
- Ensure all deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
- Support and mentor junior team members.
What you'll need to succeed:
- You must be ATT/ACA/CTA qualified.
- Proven experience in personal tax compliance and advisory.
- Previous experience managing a client portfolio and reviewing junior staff work.
- Background within professional services.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
