Your role as Private Client Tax Assistant Manager
You'll take ownership of a varied and established private client portfolio - including high-net-worth individuals, business owners, trusts and more complex personal tax cases.
Your focus will be on delivering high-quality compliance work, reviewing returns prepared by junior staff, building strong client relationships, and identifying opportunities for tax planning or advisory support.
You will also play a key part in developing junior members of the team - offering guidance, reviewing work and helping shape their progression.
This is a role where you'll have autonomy, responsibility and the space to make a meaningful impact within a growing and ambitious tax function.
What you'll need to succeed as a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager

CTA (or equivalent) preferred.

Strong background in private client tax compliance.

Ability to manage your own portfolio independently.

Experience reviewing tax returns and supporting more junior colleagues.

Excellent communication skills and a confident, client-focused approach.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to identify planning opportunities.

Experience with CCH and solid proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).
