Your role as R&D Tax Manager
You'll oversee the R&D tax relief process. Organising workflows, managing deadlines, and ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements. You'll lead client interviews, review reports for accuracy, and handle any HMRC enquiries. Beyond technical work, you'll coach junior staff, deliver seminars, and contribute to business development initiatives that support our ambitious growth plans.
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrable experience in R&D tax relief
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of legislation and case law
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Comfortable in client-facing roles and proactive in identifying opportunities
