You'll gain early exposure to clients, work across a wide range of industries and develop the technical, commercial and interpersonal skills needed to build a successful career in tax consultancy. Your role as an R&D Tax Associate:

• Working with clients across a wide range of industries and sectors including aviation technology, fashion, publishing and technology, giving you exposure to a fascinating variety of clients and challenges
• Understanding how businesses develop and use new technologies
• Helping identify eligible R&D activity and potential tax relief opportunities
• Developing commercially focused tax advice
• Building strong relationships with clients and colleagues
• Researching technical and industry-specific information
• Preparing clear, accurate reports and supporting documentation
• Developing your knowledge of tax, accountancy, technology and business
• Working towards professional tax qualifications
• Taking on increasing responsibility as your knowledge and confidence grow

What you'll need to succeed:

• Have a degree in tax, finance, accountancy, economics, science, technology or a related subject
• Have a genuine interest in technology and innovation, preferably with some work experience or an industrial placement
• Enjoy solving problems and thinking critically
• Communicate confidently and enjoy working with people
• Are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Take responsibility for your own development
• Are hardworking, organised and keen to progress
