The Opportunity

As a Tax Director, you'll play a pivotal role in advising clients on complex transactions and strategic tax matters, while shaping and growing a talented team. You'll gain exposure to both UK and international structuring, advising clients on pre- and post-deal matters, reorganisations, and cross-border strategies. What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the delivery of technically complex tax projects with a commercial and practical focus.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, driving excellence and high-quality outcomes.
• Proactively identify and convert new business opportunities, contributing to the firm's continued growth.
• Work collaboratively with senior stakeholders, lawyers, and financial advisors on multi-jurisdictional transactions.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture.
• Oversee engagement quality, financial performance, and operational effectiveness.

Areas of Focus

• Cross-border structuring and international expansion
• Pre- and post-transaction reorganisations
• Capital structure and financing optimisation
• Legal entity rationalisation
• Operating model and supply chain design
• Navigating tax law changes (e.g., BEPS, Pillar Two)
• Liaising with HMRC and global tax authorities

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a senior tax practitioner, ideally within transactions, international tax, or M&A.
• Professional qualification (CTA / ACA / CA / ATT or equivalent).
• Strong UK and international tax technical skills with commercial acumen.
• Experience managing and developing teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and drive results.
• Flexible, collaborative approach and openness to innovation and new technologies.
