This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious Tax Manager to join a high-performing, collaborative team advising UK and international funds on a broad range of complex and rewarding projects.

The Opportunity

You'll be joining a market-leading Funds & Transaction Tax team that acts for a diverse portfolio of private equity houses, infrastructure funds, and professional partnerships. The team supports clients across deal and fund structuring, partnership advisory, and UK fund reporting, often working on high-profile, cross-border transactions.

You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, building relationships with clients and intermediaries while developing your own professional network. This role also offers the chance to play a key part in winning new business and shaping the team's ongoing growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of UK tax reporting for a broad client base of private equity and fund clients

  • Lead complex consulting and advisory projects with a commercial, solutions-focused approach

  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities in collaboration with other service lines

  • Supervise, coach and develop junior team members, ensuring high standards and technical excellence

  • Contribute to team management, strategy and people initiatives

About You

You'll be a confident and technically strong tax professional, ideally with experience in private equity, funds or transaction tax. You enjoy solving complex problems, building trusted relationships, and developing others around you.

Essential skills and experience:

  • ACA, CTA, Law qualification, or equivalent tax expertise

  • Strong technical understanding of partnership taxation and fund structures

  • Proven experience managing client relationships and delivering complex projects

  • Commercial acumen with the ability to identify and convert business opportunities

  • Experience coaching and developing junior team members

Ideally, you'll also have:

  • Experience within M&A or cross-border transactions

  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills
