A leading and fast-growing Top 20 accountancy firm is seeking an experienced Audit, Accounts Senior Manager to join its London office. This is an outstanding opportunity for a senior-level professional to take on a key leadership role within a dynamic, client-focused firm working with a broad portfolio of SME and mid-market clients.

The role offers a genuine split across audit, accounts and tax, with responsibility for client relationships, team leadership and supporting the ongoing growth of the practice.


What you will be doing as an Audit & Accounts Senior Manager

  • Lead and oversee audit and assurance engagements across a varied SME and mid-market client base

  • Provide senior-level oversight of statutory accounts preparation and review

  • Take responsibility for corporation tax oversight, including review of complex computations and advising on tax matters alongside specialist teams

  • Act as a trusted adviser and senior point of contact for key clients

  • Manage, mentor and develop Managers and junior team members, ensuring consistent high-quality delivery

  • Review audit files and ensure compliance with UK auditing and accounting standards

  • Support Partners on larger, more complex assignments and technical matters

  • Identify and drive business development opportunities, including cross-selling audit, accounts and tax services

  • Contribute to internal quality control, technical standards, and audit file reviews

  • Play an active role in shaping team processes and the future direction of the practice


What you will need to succeed as an Audit & Accounts Senior Manager

  • ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualified with significant post-qualification experience

  • Proven experience at Manager or Senior Manager level within a UK accountancy practice

  • Strong technical expertise across audit, statutory accounts and corporation tax

  • In-depth knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102, IFRS and ISAs

  • Confident in managing senior client relationships and leading teams

  • Commercially minded with experience supporting business development initiatives
