Audit and Accounts Senior - £48,000-£52,000 + Hybrid Working - North/West London
A long-established, 6-partner practice with around 35 staff is looking to appoint an Audit & Accounts Senior due to increased client demand and a recent internal move. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly, growing firm with a strong audit offering and a genuinely supportive culture. The firm offers hybrid working, with the flexibility to work from home 1-2 days each week.
You'll be joining a practice with an impressive portfolio audit clients - predominantly groups - spanning Charities, Property, Travel and Jewellery, giving you exposure to a wide range of sectors and technical challenges.
The Audit and Accounts Senior Role:
This is a mixed position with an 80% audit / 20% accounts split. You'll take ownership of your own clients and be expected to lead around 12 audits per year, including smaller independent examinations.
Audit and Accounts Senior key responsibilities include:
- Leading audits from planning to completion under FRS 102, FRS 102 1A and SORP
- Preparing accounts and supporting corporation tax work where required
- Working within a pooled Audit & Accounts team, allocated to jobs based on complexity and sector
- Collaborating with Partners, Managers and peers across the firm
- Exposure to group consolidations (manufacturing and travel groups)
- Using CCH for audit and accounts production
About You
- ACA/ACCA qualified or finalist with strong UK audit experience
- Confident leading audits independently
- Comfortable working with FRS 102 and charity SORP
- Strong communicator who enjoys working closely with clients and partners
- Looking for a long term role with progression and stability
