Corporate Tax Director, Corporate & International Tax
Manchester City Centre
Package: £100,000 - £120,000 + Benefits + Bonus

We are working with a leading Big 4 Accountancy firm in Manchester who are looking to bring in an experienced Tax Director join their corporate & international tax business in the North.

This is one of the more established corporate & international teams Manchester who offer a good mixture of compliance & advisory work, supporting FTSE 250/100, AIM listed and US Inbound clients.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the organisation's global corporate and international tax strategy
• Oversee all corporate tax compliance and reporting across jurisdictions
• Manage global tax planning, including cross?border structuring and optimisation
• Ensure adherence to international tax regulations (e.g., BEPS, Pillar Two)
• Direct global transfer pricing policies, documentation, and audits.
• Assess and manage tax risks, leading responses to tax audits and disputes
• Advise senior leadership on tax implications of business decisions, M&A, and restructurings.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, treasury, and operational teams on tax?related matters.
• Maintain strong internal controls and governance over tax processes
• Lead and develop the global tax team, fostering capability and knowledge growth
• Drive process improvements and technology adoption within the tax function

What you'll need to succeed:

• Senior Manager looking to make step up, someone who is market facing with a good network in Manchester
• Seasoned Director who wants a clear pathway to partner working with a big 4 accountancy firm
• Experience working on corporate tax, compliance & advisory
• Relationships driven with strong stakeholder management skills
