Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 + bonus + benefits
Location: London / Hybrid working

A leading Big 4 firm is seeking an Indirect Tax Manager to join its growing VAT team, specialising in Real Estate, Hospitality and Construction.

This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-profile matters, providing commercially focused VAT advice while playing a key role in developing people and growing the practice.


The Role

You will deliver pragmatic indirect tax support, helping clients manage UK VAT risk, improve working capital and ensure VAT is handled correctly across supply chains and financial systems. The role includes leading advisory projects, managing client relationships and supporting team development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop high-performing VAT teams

  • Deliver technically complex UK VAT advisory projects

  • Advise on VAT aspects of large and complex M&A transactions

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships

  • Identify and drive business development opportunities

  • Coach and mentor junior team members


Experience Required

  • Significant UK VAT experience gained in practice or in-house

  • Strong knowledge of UK VAT legislation and HMRC practice

  • Professionally qualified (ATT, ACA, CA or equivalent)

  • Strong communication, leadership and project management skills
