Your new firm:

Your new role:
Reporting directly to the Head of Personal Tax, you'll take responsibility for managing a portfolio of personal tax clients while supervising and developing junior members of the team.
This role offers a blend of high-quality compliance work with exposure to advisory areas such as inheritance tax, capital gains tax and share schemes, alongside close collaboration with other tax and advisory teams to deliver a holistic client service.

Key responsibilities include:
Managing a portfolio of personal tax compliance work to meet all filing deadlines
Reviewing and supervising the work of junior team members, providing constructive feedback
Preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns to a high standard
Meeting with new and existing clients and identifying advisory opportunities
Supporting IHT, CGT and share scheme planning work
Working closely with the corporate tax team to obtain information for client returns
Dealing with HMRC compliance matters, enquiries and correspondence
Preparing self-employed accounts and property income schedules

To be successful in this role, you'll need:
ATT or CTA qualification (part-qualified considered with relevant experience)
At least three years' experience within a private practice personal tax environment
Strong technical knowledge across UK personal tax
Proven experience managing client relationships
Experience supervising and developing junior staff
Excellent written communication and attention to detail
Strong organisation and time management skills
A process-improvement mindset and comfort with networking and business development
