A leading Professional Services firm is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to join its Consulting business on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract, with strong potential for longer-term opportunities.
This is a hands-on, delivery-led role designed for someone who can step in quickly, build credibility fast, and make an immediate impact during a period of growth and change.
The Opportunity
The Consulting service line is expanding and evolving, creating an urgent need for additional leadership capacity within Talent Acquisition.
This role has been created to:

Strengthen day-to-day recruitment delivery

Support senior stakeholders during a busy period

Improve operational effectiveness and reporting

Provide hands-on leadership within the TA function
It's a high-visibility role with direct exposure to Consulting leadership and genuine scope to influence how recruitment is delivered.
Key Responsibilities

Act as a senior TA partner to the Consulting business

Lead and support a small TA team (approx. 3 direct reports)

Own operational recruitment delivery and stakeholder engagement

Act as an escalation point for hiring managers

Improve processes, reporting, and ways of working

Work closely with senior leadership to manage recruitment demand
This is not a purely strategic or remote role - visibility, presence and delivery are key.
About You

Strong background in Professional Services and/or Consulting recruitment

Experience operating at TA Manager or equivalent level

Hands-on, commercially astute and delivery-focused

Confident managing senior stakeholders

Comfortable working in fast-paced, change-led environments

Previous people management experience (team size less important than impact)

Available immediately or on short notice preferred
Candidates must be commutable to London, Manchester or Birmingham. Hybrid working applies; this role is not fully remote.
