We were approached by Alison Horner – Head of VAT at MHA MacIntrye Hudson – with regards a senior hire in her team. We met with Alison in depth on this project and agreed that search was the best way to approach this crucial hire.
THE CHALLENGE
The exclusive mandate was set to source an experienced VAT professional who had strong indirect tax knowledge, leadership and management skills, but importantly the ability to grow the business through business development and networking. The hire was expected to lead the London VAT offering.
OUR SOLUTION
A significant hire for the practice, we drew up a shortlist of the most relevant candidates following a thorough market mapping and headhunting exercise. Within a week we presented a list of these appropriate candidates and began arranging interviews.
THE RESULT
Following a short 7-week process from beginning to end, we had efficiently managed the entire process from initial meeting to offer and found MHA MacIntyre Hudson their preferred candidate.
