As we look ahead to Pro-Recruitment's 20th anniversary in 2027, I'm incredibly proud of how far we've come and excited about where we're heading next. The launch of our dedicated Asian desk marks an important milestone in our growth journey, extending our specialist recruitment expertise into new international markets.
Since founding Pro-Recruitment in 2007, we've built a strong reputation for specialist recruitment across the UK. Over the past few years, we've continued to grow our domestic business, including opening our Manchester office in 2024 to better support clients across the North of England. Now, we're taking the next step by extending our reach into Asia.
Bringing our specialist expertise to Asia
I'm delighted to welcome experienced recruiter Ian Ladkin to Pro-Recruitment Group to lead our new Asian desk. Ian brings nearly 30 years of experience supporting accountancy firms across Southeast Asia and Australia, alongside an established network and a deep understanding of the accountancy and professional services sectors.
Ian will focus on building relationships with accountancy firms across the region, supporting their growth through specialist recruitment. His work will have a particular emphasis on acquisitions, mergers and senior-level appointments across tax, audit and corporate finance.
His appointment gives us a strong foundation from which to develop our international offering, build new relationships and bring the specialist expertise we've established in the UK to firms operating across the region.
Growing alongside our clients
Our expansion into Asia is a natural next step for Pro-Recruitment. We've always focused on building long-term relationships with our clients and evolving alongside them, and as more of our clients develop their international presence, I see a real opportunity for us to support their ambitions beyond the UK.
Over the past three years, we've achieved significant growth across our UK business. As we approach our 20th anniversary, I'm proud of what we've built and the relationships that have underpinned our success. Expanding internationally allows us to build on those foundations, bringing the same specialist expertise, personal service and commitment to quality to new markets.
I'm confident that Ian is the right person to lead this next phase of our journey. His experience, market knowledge and established relationships will be invaluable as we build our presence across Southeast Asia and Australia.
