Corporate Tax Manager - Reading

The Opportunity

We are working with a leading Top 10 national firm that is looking for an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join its growing team.

This is a broad and varied role, working with an impressive portfolio ranging from entrepreneurial and privately owned businesses through to large FTSE-listed groups. You'll have the opportunity to build strong client relationships while delivering a mix of corporate tax compliance, advisory and planning work.

You'll work closely with Partners and senior leaders, taking responsibility for your own portfolio and playing an active role in developing both clients and more junior members of the team.

The Role

• Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate tax clients across a range of sectors and sizes
• Lead the delivery of corporate tax compliance and advisory work
• Provide commercially focused tax advice and identify planning opportunities
• Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders
• Work closely with audit, accounting and wider advisory teams
• Support and develop junior members of the team
• Contribute to business development and the continued growth of the corporate tax practice

About You

We're looking for someone with a strong background in UK Corporate Tax, ideally gained within a Top 10, Big 4 or similar professional services environment.

You'll be CTA and/or ACA qualified, commercially minded and confident managing client relationships. Most importantly, you'll be looking for a role offering variety, responsibility and genuine progression within a growing national practice.
